New affordable Davos-LAAX twin-centre launched

The presigious Swiss ski resorts of LAAX and Davos Klosters have come together to offer a unique twin-centre package.

The new seven-night package is set to 'reinvent' upmarket skiing, with a luxury private charter at a fraction of the normal price, according to organiser The Ski Getaway.

Guests will board a private British Airways charter flight from London City to the small alpine airport of Altenrhein, then will transfer by luxury coach to LAAX, 50 minutes away.

Accommodation will be at the self-catered, ski-in/ski-out apart-hotel, Rockresort Design Hotel, a self-contained complex of architecturally minimalist, cube-shaped buildings in the heart of the resort.

Mid-week, guests will then transfer by luxury coach to Davos Klosters, staying at new for 2019/2020 ski-in Parsenn Resort, in the heart of Davos.

The operator said the attraction to skiers is: 'maximum skiing time, minimum hassle - no waiting time at airports or lengthy transfer times'.

A spokesperson said: "The Ski Getaway Reinvented package has been meticulously devised by the two very different, yet equally exclusive resorts of LAAX and Davos Klosters.

"These two destinations provide the perfect pairing, from the exhilarating and non-stop activities in LAAX, to the more idyllic and relaxed atmosphere of Davos Klosters.

"Both offer passionate skiers and boarders perfectly groomed pistes, fit for all ski ability levels, great snow coverage, ample activities for non-skiers and a wide range of restaurants and bars.

"From London to the slopes in just under 2.5 hours, this certainly reinvents the ski getaway."

The Ski Getaway Reinvented package launches in February 2020, with seven nights from £1,550pp, including flights, accommodation and ski passes.

In keeping with both destinations' dedication to sustainable travel, the Ski Getaway Reinvented trip will carbon offsetting the flights.

In addition, guests will have access to a WhatsApp concierge service during the trip and a pop-up bar in London.
