ARC acquires majority stake in nuTravel

Airlines Reporting Corp. (ARC) has acquired a controlling stake in booking app developer nuTravel.

Established in 2002, nuTravel offers the first and only corporate retailing solutions custom built for airlines.

It comprises the Universal Connect booking application platform which integrates e-commerce, data management, and comprehensive reporting for an airline's corporate business functions.

ARC says the acquisition will enable it to advance its offerings of omni-channel retailing solutions to airlines, travel agencies and corporate travelers.

"ARC is on a fast track to help airlines and travel managers provide their travelers the streamlined, simple and consistent shopping experience they expect, regardless of their purchasing method," said ARC president and CEO Mike Premo.

Premo says the nuTravel offerings will complement its other travel tech acquisitions, Traxo and Blockskye.

uTravel will become an independent subsidiary of ARC.
