Oyo sets up fund for struggling Southeast Asia hotel partners

Oyo Hotels and Homes pledged support for hotel partners across Southeast Asia struggling with the coronavirus downturn.

It has set up a dedicated $200,000 fund to financially support partners.

Additionally, Mandar Vaidya, CEO, South East Asia, Japan & Middle East and other members of the Southeast Asia leadership team will donate a portion of their salaries.

"T'he hospitality industry has been impacted and '‹we are also concerned with the impact Covid-19 has on our partners as they come to grips with the current situation. Oyo stands in solidarity with all OYOprenuers and our partners in the region," Vadya said.

It follows a financial package recently offered to its China based partners to help financially support workers and their families.
