Hilton opening third hotel in Bangkok






Hilton is adding a third hotel to its flagship brand in Bangkok.


It signed a management agreement with AP Prime Property Company Ltd to take over the 608-room Grand Ayudhaya Hotel.


It will open as the converted Hilton Bangkok Ratchada in 2022.


Following the conversion, the hotel will feature two restaurants, meetings and events space spanning 2,500 square metres, a fitness centre and pool.


It is located no more than 27 km from both Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang International Airports.


"We are always looking for the right opportunity to grow the presence of our flagship brand, and we are delighted to be working with AP Prime Property Company," said Paul Hutton, Hilton's VP o operations, South East Asia.


"We are confident the hotel will be top of mind for travellers visiting for both leisure and business."


The company operates 11 hotels across Thailand in the Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and DoubleTree by Hilton brands.
