Hoseasons suspends bookings through agents

Hoseasons has stopped taking new bookings from agents to give it time to look after existing customers.

Sally Henry, sales director at Awaze UK, the parent company of Hoseasons, said existing customers were the 'number one priority' during these 'exceptionally difficult times'.

"That's why we're doing everything possible to help our partners in the trade move and rebook their customers' holidays due to arrive on or before May 21," she said.

"To ensure all our commercial partners were kept up to speed we directly contacted travel agents at the start of Covid-19 outbreak in the UK to explain we are unable to accept new bookings until further notice."

However, it continues to accept new bookings direct from consumers for holidays after June 4.

All of Hoseasons' lodges and holiday parks are now temporarily closed until April 30.

Anyone booked before May is being offered credit for a future holiday within the next 12 months from the date of their current arrival with a promise that 2021 prices will match prices in 2020.

It is prioritising holiday dates that were due to arrive in the next seven days.
