EasyJet announces new routes from Luton

EasyJet will launch six new routes from London Luton Airport for summer 2021 with the addition of Zakynthos in Greece, Larnaca, Cyprus, Fuertevenura and Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands, Marrakech, and the Bulgarian beach destination Varna.

The start dates are yet to be confirmed.

The airline will also significantly increase the frequency of flights across 11 existing routes, including Palma, Milan, Rhodes, Heraklion, Thessaloniki, Tenerife, Krakow and Porto.

EasyJet will resume flights from Luton on July 1 this year to more than 40 destinations. To stimulate demand, it's offering 25,000 seats to holiday destinations across Europe from £19.99 for travel until the end of October.

UK country manager Ali Gayward said: "We are really looking forward to getting back into the air in a few weeks with 90% of our destinations on offer.

"I know many in the region are keen for the resumption of flights this summer especially as many of our passengers may have had to rearrange their spring and early summer holiday plans this year."

Luton Airport CEO Alberto Martin said: "We're working hard with easyJet to ensure staff and passengers remain safe as services resume from LLA. The announcement of more fantastic destinations in 2021 is great news for passengers and an exciting addition to the airport's list of routes."
