Video: Visit Isle of Wight

Isle of Wight tourist businesses are ready to welcome visitors from July 4, the date the Government has said the hospitality industry can reopen in the latest phase of lockdown easing.

Visit Isle of Wight managing director Will Myles says: "The 4th of July can't come quick enough."

"They can now plan and ensure customers can have a great time," he told TravelMole's Graham McKenzie.

He said some business across the island 'literally have no availability between now and October', although others are still struggling.
