HK Express pushes back restart, again

Low cost carrier HK Express has once again pushed its resumption of flights back.

It will now restart services on August 2.

The carrier which was acquired by Cathay Pacific last year, suspended all services in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

It had first postponed services to April, which was later extended until July.

It could still be grounded beyond early August depending on how the air travel recovery progresses.

HK Express customers may change travel dates or the route, apply for a credit or request a refund.

The airline has remained grounded as the main Cathay Pacific takes the load of serving regional destinations across Asia.

HK Express flies from Hong Kong to about a dozen destinations across Asia including Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.
