New Canadian airline to launch

While virtually every airline is scrambling to shore up its business, a new airline startup plans to take flight very soon.

Nolinor Aviation announced the launch of new Montreal-based carrier, OWG.

Nolinor's planning for the new scheduled airline have flown under the radar for the last couple of years.

Nolinor has so far been involved in charter services to Canada's far north but now plans to fly south to 'tropical destinations.'

"The flight should be an integral part of your vacation. Our goal is to win the hearts of Quebecers with a new airline whose mission is to get travelers excited again," said OWG president Marco Prud'homme.

Nolinor hopes to have it up and running in the coming months 'against all odds' and destinations will be announced shortly.

It will fly Boeing 737-400 aircraft

The company said it 'analyzed the best airlines in the world to establish the values and mission behind the new OWG brand.'

OWG received authorization from the Minister of Transport for scheduled international flight service earlier this week.
