Elegant Resorts launches staycations

Elegant Resorts has launched exclusive holidays in the UK and Ireland to meet the growing demand for staycations.

It comes after a survey of its clients showed just under 60% would welcome a luxury staycation offering and were particularly interested in booking private luxury homes in the UK.

The new collection includes Gleneagles, The Merrion, The Newt in Somerset, plus private estates and castles such as Inverlochy Castle in the Scottish Highlands and Cromlix in Perthshire.

Elegant Resorts also continues to offer British rail journeys with Belmond and access to exclusive experiences including front row seats at Trooping the Colour accessing the usually off limits Map Room in the Churchill's War Room.

Managing director Lisa Fitzell commented: "I am extremely excited that following such incredible client feedback, we have extended our luxury offering in the UK and Ireland to increase the choice of luxury staycations available to our clients. We discovered that although the majority still had the desire to take a luxury holiday abroad by the end of the year, there was also an increasing demand to enjoy the beauty and culture a little closer to home."
