Delta has already banned 100 passengers for not wearing masks

Delta Air Lines' anti-masker no-fly list has already swelled to more than 100 customers.

The airline has been cracking down on fliers who refuse to wear a face mask during a flight.

It started requiring customers to mask up in May.

"We've been steadily and rather aggressively stepping up our enforcement of the mask policy. You cannot board a Delta plane unless you have a mask on. If you board the plane and you insist on not wearing your mask, we will insist that you don't fly Delta into the future. We already have over 100 people we've put on that list," CEO Ed Bastian told NBC.

Passenger may take off face coverings only when eating or drinking.

Many have used a medical condition as a way of not wearing a mask, and last week Delta moved to plug the 'loophole.'

"We implemented a new procedure because we've had some customers indicate that they have underlining conditions that makes wearing a mask dangerous for them," Bastian said.

This entails a 'virtual consultation' with a medical professional by phone who will determine whether it is a genuine medical issue.

"The customer will talk to the doctor before they get on the plane to actually have it validated that they indeed cannot wear a mask."

  • Protecting You

Delta is only protecting you their passengers AND their employees. Keep it up Delta. And to boot, start with spraying their hands with a sanitizer. Where I live, if you don't want it, you don't travel.
