JTB integrates Kuoni and Tumlare into single business

JTB Corporation announced the official integration of Kuoni Global Travel Services and Tumlare Destination Management as a single entity.

It is now one business called Kuoni Tumlare, nearly three years after a joint venture, although both had been trading under their own brands.

The integration will enable 'a simplified client journey and streamlined processes for increased customer focus and speed of response' Kuoni Tumlare said.

It combines 'Kuoni's Swiss heritage, Tumlare's Scandinavian roots and JTB's deep history in Japan.'

"One brand and one global team mean a simpler way of working together, allowing us to focus even more on growth and customer satisfaction," said Shinji Kamio, CEO, Kuoni Tumlare.

The company says it creates a stronger brand as the largest suppliers' network in the group travel space and has a broader destination portfolio.

"Our Operations and Procurement Teams in Europe have been operating as one team for a long time now and with this development, we will be able to customers more professionally end to end," the company said.
