Global travel job finder service launched

Destination marketing company 7M Travel Holdings has launched a website for job seekers in the travel industry.

Called Tourismo Jobs, the service matches job seekers with employers and also has a section for start-up companies, where budding entrepreneurs can connect with investors who provide marketing, sales, and financial assistance.

Founder Akarsh Kolaprath said: "Millions of people in the travel industry have been laid off or furloughed over the past few months with no options to move on to another position or to be able to provide for their families.

"As we go through this unprecedented time, we want to start the building blocks to rebuild the tourism industry.

"Employers are encouraged to register in preparation for any positions that have available now or in the future."

There is no charge to use the service, which has so far registerted 400 jobseekers, 40 employers and 24 people with start-up proposals since it launched earlier in August.
