Vietjet restarting international flights

Vietnam budget carrier Vietjet plans to resume international flights to three key East Asia destinations before the end of the month.

The regular scheduled services will be weekly flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Tokyo and Seoul and once a week to Taipei from Hanoi.

Mandatory protocols for passengers include a medical certificate with a negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours of departure, and compliance with the respective country's quarantine requirements.

Vietjet says all flights comply with guidelines of the World Health Organization and IATA.

The airline is a holder of the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certificate.

In addition, it is still operating regular repatriation flights across the region to get stranded residents home and flying in goods and medical equipment to help support prevention and control of the virus.
