Jetblue reportedly secures Heathrow slots

US low-cost airline Jetblue is reported to be preparing to launch flights to Heathrow in 2021.

The airline has not commented, but, according to reports,'multiple sources close to the airline' say it is planning transatlantic flights from Boston and New York JFK.

Jetblue announced last year that it planned to launch London flights, but did not say which airport it planned to fly into.

It was understood that Heathrow was always the target for the carrier but recent developments in the aviation industry mean slot pairs have been easier to obtain, according to UK Aviation News.
