Holland America Line is bullish on an Alaska cruise recovery for 2021, and will deploy six ships.
It plans a full season of sailings with Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Oosterdam, and Volendam offering Alaska and Glacier Bay itineraries.
The line will offer roundtrips out of Seattle, Vancouver, BC, as well as one-way sailings between Whittier, Anchorage and Vancouver.
"We're seeing strong interest for next summer's Alaska season as people anticipate being able to get out again and travel," said Gus Antorcha, HAL's new President.
"We're ready to return with plenty of options for everybody from couples to multi-generational families."
New for 2021, seven-day 'Glacier Discovery Northbound' and 'Glacier Discovery Southbound' itineraries on Nieuw Amsterdam and Noordam will operate between Vancouver and Whittier.
Other season highlights include week-long 'Alaskan Explorer' roundtrip sailings from Seattle on Eurodam and Oosterdam, with calls at Victoria, BC, Ketchikan, Juneau and Sitka.
Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam and Volendam will have various Land+Sea Journeys of up to 18 days' duration.
