EasyJet has boosted capacity for the Canary Islands after seeing a 500% increase in searches since the region was added to the UK travel corridor.
Addition flights have been added for winter 2020/21 from Gatwick, London Luton, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast.
In addition, more seats are on sale from London Gatwick and Manchester to Tenerife and Lanzarote for October half-term.
It all adds up to 180,000 extra seats to the Canaries between now and the end of March 2021, with fares from £22.99.
The expanded Canary Islands programme includes five new routes to from Edinburgh to Lanzarote and Fuerteventura; from Glasgow to Tenerife and Gran Canaria and Belfast to Tenerife, with flights taking off from 7 November.
Ali Gayward, the airline's UK Country Manager, said: "Since the government's announcement we've already seen a surge of demand for flights and holidays to the Canary Islands - we've seen a 500% increase day on day on searches - so we know that there is customer demand, they want to travel and this demonstrates they will do so when travel restrictions are relaxed."
EasyJet holidays packages start at £289 per person.
