Jet2 cancels all Greece and Cyprus flights and holidays until 2021

 


Jet2 has suspended all flights and holidays to Greece and Cyprus until next year due to the latest government travel advice.

It has cancelled its programme to Crete and Rhodes - the only Greek destinations it was still operating to - until 31 March.

Its programme to Cyprus will resume on 13 February, it said in a tweet.

Inbound flights will operate up to and including 8 November to bring customers already in Greece and Cyprus back home.

It added: "This is an incredibly fast-moving situation and we will provide an update regarding other destinations as soon as possible."

The government has introduced a ban on all overseas holidays from Thursday as part of a second lockdown in England, which is due to last at least a month.

ABTA announced in a statement that it expects tour operators to refund package holiday customers, but airlines don't have to provide refunds to flight-only customers on routes they continue to operate.
