MSC suspends more voyages until mid December

MSC Cruises has suspended sailings on MSC Magnifica until mid-December as the pandemic worsens in Europe.

The temporary suspension will affect sailings from 8 November until 18 December.

The ship's 10-night voyages across the Eastern and Western Mediterranean were due to call at ports in Italy, Greece and Malta.

MSC said France and Germany are two major source markets for the cruises, both of which have been hit with new lockdowns.

Magnifica's 2021 World Cruise has also been cancelled due to many ports being unavailable due to the pandemic.

The ship will resumes operations on 18 December with a one off 8-night Christmas cruise itinerary before a series of 10-night itinerariesacross the Eastern and Western Mediterranean until the end of April 2021.
