Jet2.com and Jet2holidays is to offer flights and holidays from Bristol for the first time from summer 2021.
The airport will become Jet2's tenth UK base, from where it will operate to 33 destinations.
Included are four totally new destinations from Bristol: Izmir in Turkey, Kalamata and Lesvos in Greece and Costa de Almeria in Spain.
There are also 11 destinations on sale for winter 21/22, including ski flights to Geneva, Grenoble and Salzburg.
During the summer it will operate up to 56 flights a week from Bristol where it will have three aircraft offering a total of 450,000 seats for the season. Jet2 described it as a 'huge programme', starting on 1 April.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays' arrival at Bristol Airport will create 200 new jobs with roles including flight and cabin crew, engineers and ground operations staff.
CEO Steve Heapy said: "The announcement of our tenth UK base reflects our long-term strategy to continue growing our successful business and become the UK's leading leisure travel business."
