Mainland Greece and some islands has been removed from the travel corridor, but five of its islands have escaped the cut.
Corfu, Crete, Rhodes, Zakynthos and Kos will remain on the safe list, while returning travellers from all other parts of Greece will be required to quarantine from 4am Saturday morning.
Bahrain, Chile, Iceland, Cambodia, Laos, UAE, Qatar and Turks & Caicos have been added to the travel corridor.
The addition of the UAE in particular could give winter sun sales a late boost.
Meanwhile, Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said the travel ban on Denmark will be extended for another 14 days.
The addition of the UAE to the travel corridor was welcomed by Gold Medal.
Managing Director Lisa McAuley said: "The announcement of a travel corridor to the UAE is fantastic news, and opens up the opportunity for agents to make some much needed winter sun bookings."
The Latin American Travel Association said it was 'delighted' Chile has been added to the travel corridors list. The country's borders are still closed, but are expected to reopen on 23 November.
LATA CEO Danny Callaghan added: "It is worth noting that many other destinations in Latin America, also have similar (and indeed lower) infection rates so we hope that this is the first step for the region and many other destinations will soon be added to the list."
While England remains in lockdown, with people unable to travel unless for work or education, Wales emerged from its two week circuit beaker on Monday with Northern Ireland set to follow suit tomorrow.
Most of Scotland remains on the country's second highest restriction level.
