Club Med has promoted Clarisse Chapolard to Head of Sales across the UK and Scandinavia. She succeeds Armand Guillemot, who held the position for almost three years.
Having joined the French all-inclusive operator in 2016, she was previously Head of MICE for UK and Scandinavia.
In her new role, Clarisse will lead the trade and MICE (Meetings & Events) team for Club Med in the UK and Scandinavia, with a team of six reporting directly to her.
In addition to fostering and growing existing relationships with Club Med's trade partners, she will be responsible for developing this area of the business to drive in-direct sales for the brand.
"I am delighted to start a new chapter and role within the Club Med business, having developed my understanding of the sector over the past four years," said Clarisse.
"Even in these turbulent times, Club Med continues to build on its ever growing portfolio of new resorts on an annual basis, as well as regular renovations of existing properties to ensure we are providing the upmost premium experience that our customers have come to expect. I am looking forward to working closely with my team on ensuring a successful year ahead."
Estelle Giraudeau, Managing Director, Club Med UK and Northern Europe added: "At Club Med, we pride ourselves on our excellent relationships with our trade partners and we are excited for Clarisse to step into this role to further develop this side of the business.
"We are continually thankful for all the hard work and support from our trade agent partners during this challenging time for the travel industry. We are looking forward to reinforcing our collaboration and we are already incredibly encouraged by the resilience of our partners to help make this year an exciting rebound for the brand, while also looking ahead to 2022 and beyond."
