Marella Cruises has cancelled all European sailings up to 31 March and all long-haul sailings until 30 April 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic.
It follows the earlier news that Fred Olsen has further delayed the restart of its cruise programme and confirmation of further cancellations from Carnival cruise lines.
Marella said the following cruises are cancelled:
* Explorer sailings from Tenerife and Las Palmas from 3 February up to and including 31 March
* Explorer 2 sailings from Barbados from 3 February up to and including 30 April
* Discovery sailings from Malaga on 3 February and from Montego Bay, Jamaica up to and including 30 April
* Discovery 2 sailings from Paphos from 23rd March up to and including 31 March
Marella Cruises said it is contacting all customers whose bookings are affected.
Fred. Olsen has also delayed the restart of its cruises from 23 April to 22 May. This is the date its new ship, Borealis, will set sail to Iceland from Liverpool. The Bolette will sail from Dover on 29 May, followed by Balmoral from Edinburgh on 9 June.
Royal Caribbean International has suspended cruises until 30 April 30, including Spectrum of the Seas from February 16-28, but excluding Quantum of the Seas.
Celebrity Cruises has cancelled cruises until 30 April 30 as well as its 1 May transatlantic cruise on Celebrity Apex.
Europe and transatlantic cruises on Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Constellation are suspended until October.
Silversea Cruises has suspended operations until 1 April and Azamara until 30 April.
