Croatia updates travel requirement for UK travellers

Croatia has updated protocols for travel to the country from regions outside the EU including the UK.

Taking effect on 1 April 2021, people entering Croatia for tourism must present confirmation of booked accommodation:

In addition, travellers must present a negative PCR test not older than 48 hours at the time of arrival at the Croatian border, or a negative rapid antigen test recognised by the Member States of the European Union.

Alternatively, vaccinated travellers must provide a vaccination certificate, and must have received the second dose at least 14 days before travel.

They can also provide proof of previous Covid infection instead, and all arrivals must fill in the Enter Croatia online form before travelling

"In preparation for the tourist season, we take systematic care of all segments in order to meet safety and health conditions, while providing tourists with timely and accurate information on how to enter the country," said Croatian Minister of Tourism and Sports, Nikolina Brnjac.

We want our guests to recognise Croatia as a safe and responsible destination."

International travel out of the UK still remains off limits for tourism purposes.
