Kenya slams 'discriminatory' action as it is added to 'red list'

The decision by London to add Kenya to its travel 'red list' sparked an angry response from the East African nation. Kenya called it a 'discriminatory' decision that lacked 'logic and scientific knowledge of the disease or the spread of the pandemic.'

Kenya has now taken its own measures, banning passenger flights from or transiting through UK airports for a month.

Kenya Airways added two extra flights to get Kenyans home before the restrictions kick in later this week. Also added to the red list were Bangladesh, Pakistan and the Philippines.
