Flydubai to return full fleet of Max aircraft to service by June

Flydubai plans to get its entire fleet of Boeing 737 Max aircraft back in the skies within the next two months. The Gulf carrier has a fleet of 14 Max jets.

The airline plans short haul Max flights to Iran and Pakistan and is also in talks to start Max flights to India. Max flights to Europe are 'definitely on the cards' as countries approve the jet, said Mike Evans, the airline's SVP of customer experience, brand and communication.

The first five Max jets will resume commercial service this week, Evans said. There are a dozen countries that flydubai operates to that has not yet approved the 737 Max to fly again including India and Russia.
