When will a US-UK travel corridor take flight?

There is optimism that key transatlantic routes could be back in business before the summer. The UK and the US are among the top two countries for the number of citizens vaccinated. Due to this, there is hope the CDC will relax rules on inbound travel from the UK. Only essential travel is permitted at the moment.

Airlines have been pushing hard to fully reopen the transatlantic routes to regain their share of the lucrative business travel market.

Airlines including BA, Virgin Atlantic and their American counterparts are ready to ramp up services when able to do so. Additionally, New York based JetBlue is ready to enter the highly competitive US-UK market.
