Riviera returning to the rivers of Russia next year

Riviera Travel will offer Russia river cruises again in 2022 aboard the 224-guest MS Rossia.

Eight 'Russian Odyssey' river cruises will operate next year between May and August 2022.

Sailings comprise guided tours of Moscow, St Petersburg, Uglich and Yaroslavl, which include the Kremlin, the Hermitage Museum, Mandrogi and the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery in Goritsy.

Prices start from £2,199pp based on two people sharing a cabin, inclusive of all meals, return flights and transfers, tours, visits as per the itinerary and port taxes.

There will be on-board lectures on Russian history and demonstrations of local cooking, language and handicrafts, as well as live entertainment of classical and traditional Russian music.

MS Rossia, which was custom-built to navigate the waterways of Russia, features two bars, a restaurant, sun deck, complimentary Wi-Fi, a library and a fitness room.

The cruise is similarly available to book this year, with sailings from June to August.

Katja Hildebrandt from Riviera Travel said: "The sailing has proved popular with guests for this year and we're confident that 2022 will be no different as international travel continues to open up. A Russian river cruise really is an experience like no other."
