Only vaccinated passengers allowed on Qantas international flights

Qantas has reaffirmed its 'no jab, no fly' policy for international flights.

The airline will require vaccination proof for all passengers on international flights Qantas Group CEO Alan Joyce confirmed.

Qantas expects to have the policy in place by Christmas when it hopes international services will resume.

"Qantas will have a policy that internationally we'll only be carrying vaccinated passengers," CEO Alan Joyce said.

The airline group has mandated vaccinations for all frontline employees by mid-November.

"It's clear that vaccinations are the only way to end the cycle of lockdowns and border closures and for a lot of Qantas and Jetstar employees that means getting back to work again," he said.

The airline currently has an incentive programme for loyalty members to get vaccinated.
