Qatar Airways Holidays opens sales for World Cup travel packages

Qatar Airways Holidays has launched FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 fan travel packages.

Packages are inclusive of match tickets, return flights and accommodation options.

With just a year to go, fans can now guarantee their match tickets by first joining Qatar Airways Privilege Club, and will then get access to travel packages and reserve seats at their preferred matches.

Qatar Airways is also offering refunds for fans if their national team doesn't qualify for the tournament.

Fans can choose from seven-tiered travel packages, with prices starting from USD $3,800.

Those wishing to discover Qatar during their trip can also choose to add supplementary services such as airport transfers and sightseeing tours.

Each fan can book a total of seven matches by combining more than one package.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker, said: "It makes us proud to be the Official Airline for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and for the first time ever, the Middle East will take centre stage. We anticipate unprecedented demand throughout the tournament, and as part of our agreement with FIFA, fans can rely on us to enjoy a seamless journey."

The travel packages are currently live and accessible in multiple countries in Europe, Asia and Australasia, but not yet in the UK.

Additional markets will be added in the coming months.
