JetBlue will use sustainable fuel on New York flights

JetBlue will buy $1 billion worth of sustainable aviation fuel to power flights from New York. It will buy SAF from bioenergy firm SG Preston over a 10-year period  from 2023. The airline hopes to convert up to 10% of total fuel usage to sustainable aviation fuel during this period.

The SAF flights will operate out of New York JFK and La Guardia. It will use blended SAF ata 30% ratio, the airline said.
