Jet2 boosts half-term capacity to the Canary Islands, Turkey

Jet2 has expanded its flight and package holiday programme to the Canary Islands and Turkey in October.

It is adding more flights to Tenerife, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, and Dalaman in October.

The addition of the new flights to the Canaries, represents more than 7,000 additional seats going on sale.

Capacity has been added to Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Dalaman with more flights now on sale from Belfast International, Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, Manchester, and Newcastle Airports in October.

This adds up to over 190 weekly services to the Canary Islands in October from across ten UK bases, on top of weekly flights to Turkey.

It is introducing new Sunday services to Tenerife from 24 to 31 October from Belfast International, meaning up to five weekly flights during October half-term.

From Birmingham there is an additional Friday service to Tenerife and now up to six weekly services in October and from Manchester extra seats are added for Tenerife.

Services have been boosted to Tenerife from Leeds Bradford,  which now means up to nine weekly services in October.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: "The easing of travel restrictions has given people the confidence to plan and look forward to their holidays and this has resulted in phenomenal demand for October breaks."

Jet2 says the Canary Islands and Turkey are proving to be amongst the most popular destinations.
