In 2023, Centara Hotels & Resorts achieved an 'A' rating in the MSCI ESG Ratings, secured its sixth consecutive recognition on the SET ESG Ratings list (formerly THSI), including its first 'A' ranking, earned the Sustainability Disclosure Recognition from the Thaipat Institute for the fourth consecutive year, and will be included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2024.   As part of the TRT Hotels, Resorts & Cruise Lines Industry, Central Plaza Hotel Public Company Limited [CENTEL], Centara's parent company, has been recognised as an ‘Industry Mover’ in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2024 for its exceptional sustainability practices. This prestigious recognition spotlights companies that have achieved at least a five percent increase in their S&P Global 2023 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA Score) and demonstrated the strongest improvement within their industry. CENTEL achieved a CSA Score of 60/100, marking a twelve-point rise from the previous year and positioning the company in the top 15% of its industry. Set to reopen as Centara Villas Phi Phi Island in October 2024, this stunning resort offers 40 villas ranging from 56 to 133.5 square metres, an all-day dining restaurant, a sunset sky bar, an outdoor swimming pool, and pool bar, spa, fitness centre, and a convenient onsite mini shop.   At the end of 2023, Centara also signed a Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) with Kornsiri Hospitality Management Limited Partnership for Tiva Ao Makham Resort Phuket, a greenfield project set to redefine health-focused travel with exceptional facilities including yoga, cycling, and a Pilates reformer studio, as well as a sauna, steam room, and onsen available to all guests. Offering 68 rooms along Phuket’s southeastern coast, this will be Centara’s 11^th hotel in Phuket and the newest edition to its Boutique Collection.   Looking towards Vietnam, Centara is set to open two exceptional properties in Vung Tau City, a popular destination along the southern coast in Q1 of 2027.
