Amadeus River Cruises has announced details of a second Rhine Concert Cruise featuring renowned conductor and violinist André Rieu. This first cruise – which sold out in a matter of weeks – took place on 5th January 2026 and was incredibly well received by guests.
The Rhine Concert Cruise is a six-night itinerary from Cologne to Amsterdam with calls in Bonn, Nijmegen, Arnhem, Rotterdam and Dordrecht. The highlight of the cruise is a dazzling performance by world-renowned André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.
The cruise takes place on AMADEUS Aurea, which launches in May 2026 and will feature cutting-edge environmental technologies such as a hybrid propulsion system and an efficient heat recovery system. The ship will accommodate 158 guests in 12 spacious suites with balconies and 67 cabins featuring panoramic windows. There will also be an elegant Panorama Restaurant, sun deck with outdoor pool and Lido Bar, state-of-the-art fitness room and a River Terrace.
The cruise departs 4th January 2027 with prices from £1,969 per person. Price includes return flights from the UK, overseas transfers, the cruise with all meals, beer and wine with lunch and dinner, the concert in Amsterdam, gratuities and €100 per person onboard credit.
