Celebrity Cruises continues to set new standards for culinary innovation, with the premium travel brand today awarded Forbes Travel Guide’s first-ever Five-Star rating for a restaurant at sea. Le Voyage on Celebrity Xcel – a restaurant in partnership with renowned chef Daniel Boulud, Celebrity Cruises’ global culinary ambassador – joins an elite group of the top restaurants globally holding the Five-Star accolade.

Forbes Travel Guide is the world-renowned authority on excellence in hospitality, and is the only independent, global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas, and ocean cruises. Celebrity Cruises was the first cruise line to earn a prestigious Forbes Travel Guide Star Award in 2023 and was recognised in the inaugural ratings for restaurants on cruise ships in 2025. This year, Celebrity earned eight total awards for its ships and restaurants, a testament to the travel brand’s unmatched hospitality and innovative culinary offerings.

“At Celebrity Cruises elevated hospitality is in our DNA. Guided by our guests, we dream up and deliver experiences that create memories and stories they cannot experience anywhere else. This dedication to excellence is reflected in our culinary offerings – from our award‑winning wine collection to our partnership with industry visionary, chef Daniel Boulud,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises. “We are extremely proud and honoured to earn Forbes Travel Guides’ first Five-Star rating for a restaurant at sea, this industry‑leading recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to culinary excellence.”

“I have the honor of being Celebrity Cruises’ global culinary ambassador, supporting their delivery of elevated culinary experiences. Throughout the years of partnership, I recognized Celebrity’s drive for culinary innovation and dedication to quality service. We began expanding our collaboration, first featuring my menus for their Suite guests, then trusting Celebrity to launch my first-ever restaurant at sea,” shared Chef Daniel Boulud. “Le Voyage is the culmination of our years-long partnership, and we are thrilled to be recognized with Forbes Travel Guides’ Five Stars. Together we look forward to continuing to redefine the possibilities of dining at sea.”

From the moment guests step inside Le Voyage, their experience is so much more than a meal – it’s a cultural journey that invites guests to experience flavours from around the world. The first signature restaurant at sea for Boulud, Le Voyage infuses global flavours into each dish, with an ambiance as elegant as the meal. Dishes take diners on a trip around the globe without ever leaving the table. Guests can choose between an elevated selection of a la carte offerings or a flavourful five-course tasting menu.  Diners can pair their meal with a glass from Celebrity Cruises’ most awarded wine programme at sea, featuring more than 500 wine selections that represent the world’s most sought-after regions and most acclaimed labels.

Additionally, Le Voyage on Celebrity Ascent earned a Four-Star rating, along with Fine Cut Steakhouse on Celebrity Ascent and Celebrity Apex.
