Eurowings with new boarding concept from 3 April 2025

Eurowings is introducing a new boarding concept on 3 April 2025 to make the boarding process even more efficient and customer-friendly for passengers in future. The further development is based on feedback from customers who want an optimised process at the gate. The new process therefore involves a greater differentiation of boarding groups according to the fare booked. The most important change: instead of two groups, the process will be divided into three groups in future. Travellers with small children will benefit from stress-free boarding thanks to priority boarding. The current boarding procedure will remain in place until 1 April 2025. 2 April 2025 will serve as a transition day on which both technical and organisational adjustments will be made at the airports. From 3 April 2025, the new boarding procedure will apply to all Eurowings flights. With the new structure, Eurowings will ensure that the boarding process runs even more smoothly and efficiently for the benefit of passengers. More information

Eurowings and share launch campaign for UN World Water Day

To mark this year’s UN World Water Day on 22 March 2025, Eurowings has launched a special campaign together with its partner share: For every share drink sold on board, a donation will go towards the construction of water wells for people in Madagascar, Bangladesh and Kenya. This means that each bottle provides one person with drinking water for a day. The aim of the campaign is to sell 220,000 share drinks to give as many people as possible access to clean drinking water.
