Türkiye is continuing to strengthen its reputation as a luxury travel hotspot, with high-profile names increasingly choosing the destination for exclusive getaways. British actor Jason Statham and fiancée Rosie Huntington-Whiteley were spotted this week enjoying a family holiday along the country’s stunning Turquoise Coast.

The Fast and the Furious movie star and partner, travelling with their children, stayed along the exclusive Belek coastline near Antalya, at a luxury resort. This rising profile is reflected in latest visitor data. New fgures released by the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency show that more holidaymakers visited Türkiye in March compared to the same month last year.

The UK market in particular continues to show strong growth, with British visitor numbers increasing by 16% year on year. Demand surged further towards the end of the month, with arrivals from the UK jumping by 64% between 24 and 30 March compared to the same period in 2025.

Known for its crystal-clear waters, dramatic coastline and high-end resorts, the Turkish Riviera – including destinations such as Bodrum and Antalya – has become synonymous with understated luxury. The region offers a blend of secluded villas, yacht-lined marinas and premium wellness experiences, making it an ideal choice for celebrities looking to unwind away from the spotlight.

Türkiye’s appeal lies not only in its luxury offering but also in its remarkable depth of history and culture. Among its standout destinations, Antalya, often regarded as the country’s tourism capital on the Turkish Riviera, offers a compelling gateway to the past.
