Holland America Line unveils 2027/2028 South America & Antarctica season

Holland America Line has launched its 2027/2028 South America and Antarctica cruise season.

 

Running from November 2027 to March 2028, itineraries range from 14 to 31 days, sailing on Zuiderdam and Oosterdam and departing from Buenos Aires, Argentina; San Antonio (Santiago), Chile; and Fort Lauderdale and Miami, Florida.

 

Itinerary highlights include:

* 28-day ‘Legendary Amazon Explorer’ on Zuiderdam, roundtrip from Miami, departing February 5, 2028. Includes overnight stays in Manaus and visits to Parintins, Alter do Chão, Santarém, Boca da Valeria, Martinique, Barbados and St. Lucia. Prices start from £6,119pp.

* 14-15 day ‘South America Pathways: Chilean Fjords & Glaciers’ on Oosterdam (multiple departures). Cruise between Buenos Aires and San Antonio (Santiago), exploring Glacier Alley, the Beagle Channel, Cape Horn and the Pío XI Glacier. Prices start from £2,828pp.

* 16-day ‘Inca & Panama Canal Discovery: Lima Overnight’ on Oosterdam (multiple departures). Cruise between Fort Lauderdale and San Antonio (Santiago), visiting the Panama Canal, Fuerte Amador (Panama City) and Callao (Lima). Prices start from £3,269pp.

* 22-day ‘South America & Antarctica’ on Oosterdam, Buenos Aires to San Antonio (Santiago) (multiple departures). Includes four days exploring Antarctica’s White Continent, with scenic cruising through the Drake Passage, the Chilean Fjords and stops in Montevideo, Puerto Madryn, Ushuaia and Port Stanley. Prices start from £5,019pp.

* 31-day ‘Collectors’ Voyages’, combining back-to-back sailings, with few or no repeating ports. Prices start from £5,999pp.

 

In addition, the season has nine scenic cruising opportunities, including a four-day Antarctic Experience, and views of the Pío XI Glacier, Glacier Alley, the Beagle Channel and the Chilean Fjords.

 

Shore excursions include the ‘Lost City of the Incas’, exploring Machu Picchu’s stone terraces, temples and granite walls, and the ‘Galápagos Islands Overland Adventure’, offering numerous wildlife encounters.

 

For a limited time, when guests book a 2027/2028 South America and Antarctica cruise with the ‘Have It All Early Booking Bonus’, they will receive an Elite Beverage Package, shore excursion spending money, up to three nights speciality dining, Premium Wi-Fi package, prepaid crew appreciation and up to USD $300pp onboard credit.
