Just Go Holidays cites TIPTO as driver behind significant sales growth this year

TIPTO supplier member Just Go Holidays has identified significant trade sales growth in the year to date and cites tour operator membership group, TIPTO, as the driving force behind this increase. Reporting a staggering 61% year on year uptick in trade revenue in the months from 01 January 2025 to 14 July 2025, Just Go Holidays can directly relate this to TIPTO and the sheer number of quality travel agents it has met face2face at this year’s training events. And, showing the true power of the travel trade, agent sales from TIPTO attendance is tracking ahead of the company’s overall sales revenue increase, which is up 47% on last year for the same timeframe (01 January-14 July 2024).

Having joined TIPTO in 2023, Just Go Holidays, part of the JG Travel Group, is coming to the end of its second year as a TIPTO member. Reaping the benefits of TIPTO’s tried and tested training event format, Just Go Holidays has met an average of 54 travel agents per event, attending their allocation of 18 of TIPTO’s 35 events in the past 12 months. And with a nationwide event tour, these agents span key geographical regions and agent attendees have offered a wide-ranging mix of retail experience (66% of attendees) and homeworkers (44% of attendees). Plus, almost 50% of this year’s agent event attendees have been completely new to TIPTO.

Comments Claire Dutton, Trade Sales Manager, JG Travel Group: “We are delighted with these revenue figures as we hit the halfway point this year. We are almost at the end of our second year with TIPTO and to already see such significant results demonstrates just how important the agent community is to driving our sales. TIPTO is integral to the trade sales strategy at Just Go and I know I could not have reached the number of agents I have this year without our membership.”

“I’ve travelled the length of the country, meeting quality agents face2face to update them on our news and product developments. Of particular focus was our European and Winter Sun programmes, which have seen significant sales on the back of the agents we have met and trained on the road.”

Agent feedback from Lorraine D, a Silver Travel Advisor supports this: “After meeting with Claire at TIPTO’s Manchester Roadshow event, I am delighted to say I’ve already booked two clients on the Jewel of Croatia tour. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without the in person training on the night. It certainly spurred me on to approach clients with the brand.”

TIPTO Chairman, Vishal Patel, adds: “It’s fantastic to hear the success stories of our supplier members. TIPTO is trusted by travel agents to bring them quality training opportunities in a fun and interactive environment that is conducive to gaining the knowledge needed to better sell our suppliers.”

“Our agent community is key to our suppliers’ success, and testimonials such as this are certainly a boost to our resolve to keep the quality of what we do high so that agents can convert those all-important enquires, driving significant revenue for our members.”
