The Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach Visitor & Convention Bureau will be celebrating the resiliency of the local hospitality industry at their Annual Tourism Celebration on Friday, May 9th. The event will take place at Harborside Garden at The Four Points by Sheraton Punta Gorda Harborside from 4:30pm until 7:30pm.
In partnership with the Charlotte Chapter of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, the Fifth Annual Tourism Awards ceremony will also take place during the event. The Tourism Awards honor individuals who contributed significantly to Charlotte County’s outstanding hospitality industry. Tourism partners can nominate their top employees HERE through April 18.
“Charlotte County hospitality workers consistently put in top tier efforts to ensure our out-of-town visitors and local patrons have great experiences no matter ebbs and flows the destination may face. As we celebrate all that tourism does for Charlotte County, I hope we all remember that our Destination Strength Through United Purpose is what really makes Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach shine” said Sean Doherty, Tourism Director of the Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach Visitor & Convention Bureau.
Come celebrate tourism and enjoy an afternoon of networking and delicious cuisine at our annual celebration. Tickets can be purchased for $30 through the Visitor & Convention Bureau’s website HERE.
