No one has ever become poor by giving” says Cloud Solution Provider to the Travel Industry Babble

Babble, the UK’s leading Cloud Solution Provider to many household travel brands, has demonstrated a strong commitment to charitable causes by supporting the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and other notable charities. The company has embarked on several initiatives to raise funds and awareness for these causes.

Babble announced earlier this year a significant partnership with the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, when becoming the Gold Charity Partner for the Babble Ride Across Britain 2024. This foundation, established by the late Scottish rugby player Doddie Weir after his Motor Neuron Disease (MND) diagnosis, aims to fund research for effective MND treatments. Babble has committed to raising £250,000 for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation through various challenges. The company’s dedication to this cause has been evident in their participation in multiple cycling events including Doddie Cup 555 Ride Babble sponsored and participated in this 555-mile cycling challenge from Cardiff to Edinburgh, Babble Ride Across Britain, an iconic nine-day cycling event covering 980 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats featuring Babble’s team of 80 riders, known as the Babble RABble. Top of the sore bum list was however the company’s very own CEO Matt Parker who undertook the ‘All Roads Lead to Rome’ challenge which is a 1,800km journey including 12,000m of ascents.

Babble’s philanthropic efforts do however extend beyond the My Name’5 Doddie with generous support for the Prince’s Trust and the Buffalo Foundation by signing up to a three-year partnership with Threshold Sports. More recently Babble hosted the annual St Martin in the Fields  Christmas Appeal which to date has raised in excess of £120,000. This is the third occasion Babble has hosted the appeal and were assisted in their efforts by Hugh Dennis, Alexei Sayle and Felicity Finch.

As Matt Parker stated, “We have been able to achieve significant growth in revenues because of the  of the approach we’ve taken around not having intellectual property in our business and being asset light. This in turn has allowed us to maintain a high degree of social responsibility to our staff, our clients and the wider world”.
