2023 FORMULA 1 RACE CALENDAR REVEALED

Formula 1 has announced the calendar for the 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship, which has been approved by the World Motor Sport Council.

LAS VEGAS RACE DATES
NOV 16 – 18, 2023

Kicking off in Bahrain on March 5 and concluding in Abu Dhabi on November 26, the season will feature a record-breaking 24 races, with China and Qatar set to return, and Las Vegas arriving as the penultimate round for a Saturday night race.

James Beard Award Winner Shawn McClain, with partners Richard and Sarah Camarota, will open their newest Las Vegas restaurant, Balla Italian Soul, at SAHARA Las Vegas on Friday, September 30. The regional, seasonal menu offers fresh and vibrant plates to locals and tourists alike. After opening its doors to the public on Friday, September 30, Balla Italian Soul will offer dinner Wednesday through Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m. Balla Italian Soul’s menu embraces the lighter, brighter and more seasonally driven aspects of Italian cuisine. It focuses on a parade of best-in-season vegetable dishes, preparations honoring the purity of great seafood and handmade pastas and pizzas designed to make guests swoon. Carnivores need not worry as extraordinary meats will be curated and prepared the in the wood-fired oven.

Vegas’ First Yacht Rock Residency: The Docksiders at Rio

America’s favorite Yacht Rock Band, The Docksiders, launched Las Vegas’ first official Yacht Rock residency this month. Bringing soft rock hits of the ‘70s & ‘80s to the Entertainment Capital of the World, The Docksiders will immerse fans into a bygone era with costume changes, enhanced visual production, and a world-class performance. Led by three-time Grammy nominee Kevin Sucher, The Docksiders perform at The Duomo inside Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino. With a frequently updated assortment of top hits, fans can expect no two shows to be the same, with renditions of favorites like Olivia Newton-John, Toto, Kenny Loggins, Steely Dan, Michael McDonald, Hall & Oates, Christopher Cross, and Ambrosia. The Docksiders will perform five nights a week at 6 pm, dark Fridays and Sundays.

NFR Access ONLY Ticket Returns in 2022

The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and Las Vegas Events recently announced the NFR Access ONLY Ticket will return in 2022. The NFR Access ONLY ticket will provide access to the Thomas & Mack Center, but not a seat. It provides access to all the experiences at the NFR – Cowboy Corral, Aces High – Saloon & Exhibit, Bull & Barrel Saloon and ProRodeo Zone – and allows fans to watch the rodeo in the designated areas. Known as the richest and most prestigious rodeo in the world, the Wrangler NFR attracts the top 15 contestants in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding to compete for a share of the increased purse and the coveted PRCA Gold Buckle. In 2021, the event had a total attendance of 169,539 over the 10 days of competition at the Thomas & Mack Center and has sold out more than 340 consecutive performances in Las Vegas.

Priced at $10,000 per guest, each intimate dinner is limited to 20 guests and will take place in a unique setting at Wynn Las Vegas.
