A group tour to roar about
Lion World Tours’ 11-day itinerary "Planes, Trains & Safarimobiles," is an unusual journey that allows travelers to experience South Africa not only by safari vehicle, but also by luxury rail, says the company.
Service on The Blue Train is said to be a "magnificent moving five-star hotel" by its operators, who note that kings and presidents have traveled on The Blue Train.
This 11-day package includes international airfare from New York (JFK) or Washington DC (Dulles) on South African Airways, domestic flights within South Africa, fuel surcharges, as well as luxury accommodations in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
The trip also includes an overnight journey on The Blue Train, a safari in Pilanesberg National Park, most meals, a tour of Table Mountain and a full-day Cape Peninsula tour, and more.
The price is USD $3,599 per person on September 13th – 23rd.
Lion World Tours specializes in group and individual tours to Southern and East Africa, and is a member of The Travel Corporation, which also includes Trafalgar, Contiki, Brendan Vacations, Red Carnation Boutique Hotel Collection, Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection and Insight Vacations.
