ABTA Convention moved to Marbella

Monday, 01 Jun, 2006 0

This year’s ABTA Travel Convention will now take place in Marbella instead of Athens, the association has confirmed.

The new dates for the event are Monday, November 27 to Wednesday 29 instead of November 23-25.

ABTA president Justin Fleming said: “We had planned to hold our convention in Athens this year but due to a number of local changes in the last few months we feel it would be better to do this in another year. I am delighted that we have secured the convention facilities in Marbella where we held our very successful 1998 Convention.”

Business Sessions will run through Tuesday and Wednesday, November 28-29, culminating with a spectacular Farewell Party on the Wednesday evening.

ABTA said it had has secured an ‘excellent line-up’ of key speakers, and these will be announced early next week.
