Advantage to appoint commercial director as part of restructure
Advantage Travel Centres is to appoint a commercial director to work across all areas of its business.
The move comes as its corporate director, Ken McLeod, announced his retirement from his position this summer after 12 years, although he will stay on as a part-time advisor.
Advantage MD Julia Lo Bo-Said said McLeod would not be directly replaced.
Instead a commercial director role has been created to include corporate but also to cover leisure, technology and the consortium’s new tour operation, Advantage Holidays,
"We’re looking for someone definitely with strong corporate travel experience and expertise but also to work across all of the business," she said. "It’s all part of a restructure."
Advantage has just appointed a new finance director, Nick Moser, who joins from Voyages SNCF where he was MD.
