Simon Reeve to headline adventure travel show in London this January
The Adventure Travel Show, the UK’s event for off-beaten-track travel since the 1990s, returns to Islington’s Business Design Centre on 10-11th January for a weekend of travel specialists and inspiring speakers from around the globe. Headlining the main stage is adventurer, TV presenter and bestselling author, Simon Reeve, alongside a back-to-back agenda of explorers and speakers from around the world each with their own fascinating stories to tell.
A new addition for 2026 is the Gravel & Adventure Bike Expo, dedicated to exploring the world on two wheels and exploring the freedom that a bike gives you. The expo bolsters the weekend’s roster of inspiring speakers with leading names from across the ultra-endurance and adventure cycling community including the UK’s most accomplished long distance cyclist, Mark Beaumont.

The HX Adventure Travel Theatre, sponsored by HX Expeditions, will host a line-up of travelers and adventurers sharing their inspiring stories and expert advice on extraordinary global journeys. Joining Reeve over the two days is BBC presenter and female explorer Alice Morrison; Monty Halls, of the BBC Great Escape series; British adventure athlete Laura Kennington, plus many more.
Visitors will also be able to engage with over 100 exhibitors under one roof making this the perfect place to research your upcoming trips or discover a completely new destination to visit. Covering UK-based adventures, through to exploring jungles, mountains, rivers and deserts across every continent.
Event Director Chris Holman spoke about what this coming year’s event holds:
