AeroMexico launches agent programme

AeroMexico Vacations has created an in-destination Mexico Specialist Program exclusively for US travel agents.

Christine Grabowski, director of private label brands for The Mark Travel Corporation, tour operator for AeroMexico Vacations, called it a “win-win situation.” She added: “Not only do we educate agents on AeroMexico Vacations’ Mexico destinations, but we build lasting and profitable relationships that increase sales for the travel agency and ultimately build customer affinity for the brand.”

Benefits of the program include higher commissions, first-hand experience at the destination and more flexible payment options.

Agents selected to participate in the program will travel to a destination in Mexico for further training, a seminar and to visit the country first-hand.

Agents will receive a binder that includes brochures, contact cards, selling points and resort recommendations, among other sales tools.

AeroMexico is Mexico’s largest airline, serving over 40 cities in Mexico and 17 gateway cities in the US.
