Agents hop aboard P&O Academy
SYDNEY – P&O Cruises are visiting more than 850 travel agencies around the country this month to celebrate the release of the online training program, P&O Academy.
Launched in December last year, P&O Academy is designed for travel agents to improve their knowledge, skills and confidence when selling the P&O Cruises product.
The first month of P&O Academy has seen 355 travel agents graduate as ‘First Officer’ – the first of four ranks in the programme.
Don Clark, director of sales at Complete Cruise Solution, said the initial response to P&O Academy had been outstanding.
“It’s been great to see so many travel agents get involved in the programme, and we encourage all those yet to join to get onboard,” Clark said.
“The programme offers great benefits for both agents and their agencies, and most of all, is an extremely useful tool for increasing cruise sales.”
