Agents Offered Free Tickets to Norfolk Island
To celebrate its new Sunday services, Norfolk Island Tourism is offering travel agents the opportunity to fly to the island for just the cost of relevant air taxes $155.28 ex Sydney and $140.65 out of Brisbane until March 31 next.
“Spouses, partners and children may join the agent for just $200 return plus taxes and special accommodation and touring discounts arranged to complete the welcome,” said NIT General Manager Steve McInnes.
“Norfolk Island is a great destination for all ages and we want as many agents as possible to come and experience this for themselves.
“Airport transfers on the island will be free, and all offers are on a first come basis and subject to availability. Some flights also have limited availability.
Mr McInnes said accommodation packages range from three nights FOC at Nuffka Studio Apartments up to $120/night at Governor’s Lodge or $160/night at Poinciana Cottages, some with hire cars included, while Bounty Excursions and Norfolk Touring Company will provide free half-day island tours.
To apply for a ticket, agents need to email NIT Visitor Services Manager, Sue Buffett, at [email protected] to obtain an application form. Once flights are approved and confirmed, accommodation and tours can be booked directly with the operators.
From March 6, Norfolk Island will be served by three Qantas-ticketed services each week – leaving Sydney and Brisbane each Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday.
