Air Canada has signed a new multi-year distribution agreement with Travelport.

It gives continued real time access for Travelport-connected agents to Air Canada’s inventory and fares via the Travelport Travel Commerce Platform.

Air Canada is also strengthening the relationship with Travelport’s Rich Content and Branding solutions and API linkage.

"It marks an exciting chapter in the partnership between our two companies by laying the groundwork for us to continue working together on next generation technologies and merchandising solutions that provide travel agents and travelers with the best branded products," said Duncan Bureau, Air Canada’s Vice President, Global Sales.

"We look forward to partnering with Travelport and its vast global network of connected agents to fuel Air Canada’s growth and success across the globe."

Air Canada recently announced it would utilize Travelport’s EMD+ technology for ancillary sales kicking off with Preferred Seats and Advance Seats.
